About Us
Housed in one of three Heritage Listed cottages built in 1902, our Visitor Information Centre and Maritime Museum is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Our dedicated volunteers are always on hand to provide you with all the information and assistance you need. Our Visitor Information Centre carries a full range of Maps, Brochures and things to see and do.
Discover Maritime Heritage
Come Explore, Learn, and Enjoy...from the Ships that plied the Macleay River to the old Sydney Ferries washed up on the beach. We also have a fantastic collection of books, artifacts and relics of our past. Our last Pilot Boat, " MV Macleay" also sits proudly in a specially built covered area behind the Museum.

Guided Tours

Come in and browse several rooms packed full of local Maritime history from the late 1800's right up to today. Fabulous displays, great artifacts and shipping history for you to experience. Guided tours can be arranged.

Maritime Exhibits

Explore fascinating maritime artifacts, historical documents, and detailed models dating back to the late 1800's, as well as the last Pilot Boat to serve SWR which was built in 1935.

Get comprehensive info on local attractions, maps ,activities, and accommodations from our knowledgeable volunteers and see our range of Gifts and Souvenirs as well.
